And with the new integration between VESPER and Dataloy, updating the vessels Speed & Consumption profiles has been made significantly easier. This integration will allow better estimation of the vessels fuel consumption in Dataloy VMS, once the underlying master data is kept up to date.

Kristian Bendix Nielsen currently holds the position as Director and Owner in Vessel Performance Solutions, a Company that delivers performance services and solutions for International Shipping Companies. He has previously worked and a Vessel Performance Analyst and Head of the Hydrodynamics Department in Maersk Maritime Technology, which was the Engineering Department of A.P. Moller Maersk. 

He has a strong background in vessel performance analytics and have developed many analytical tools and algorithms for analysis of operational data from ships. Mr Nielsen holds a PhD degree from the Technical University of Denmark (DTU), specializing in Computational Fluid Dynamics, and he also has a MSc degree in Naval Architecture from DTU.
